Associate Artist | Diveakssh Schae

A self-taught and experimental electronic musician, Diveakssh Schae does not abide by the rules in terms of sound design. He has a range of tastes and influences, from the melodic German techno of Paul Kalkbrenner, to the soundscapes of Caspian and Segue, to name a few. He has designed sound for a variety of films and theatre productions including German Expressionist film, "Das Wartezimmer", which received a national award (ATOM Award). With a DJ background of having played in a lounge bar in his hometown: Bangalore, India, and a variety of offbeat events locally including "Our House: Brisbane", he has gathered a strong understanding of listeners' psychology and music knowledge. For now, he plans to continue to walk the tricky plank between the arts and the entertainment industry, while gathering as much knowledge about the field as possible.
